The Appeal
You don't need us to tell you that a 964-generation 911 Turbo is a special thing. The 3.6-litre variant, with its broader torque spread and increased power, is particularly coveted among collectors. But to those outside the Middle East, the letters GCC may require some explanation. So here goes...
Officially delivered via regional Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) dealership networks, these cars were built specifically for the Middle Eastern market: the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, and Bahrain. Factory features include a high-capacity air conditioning system, a high-output battery, an upgraded engine oil cooling fan blower, and optimised engine bay heat management. Visually and functionally, the GCC cars are distinguished by a metric km/h speedometer, tinted glass, Arabic-English warning labels, and a rear fog light delete.
This GCC-specification example, finished in the iconic combination of Grand Prix White over red leather, has been the subject of a significant restoration by NINE ELEVEN RER Dubai, one of the region's foremost Porsche specialists, with approximately US$135,000 invested and full invoices to support the work carried out. The engine has been comprehensively rebuilt, the suspension extensively overhauled, the electrical wiring refurbished throughout, and the fuel lines replaced.
The vendor reports that the car has been meticulously maintained and stored in a climate-controlled garage throughout. Inside, the red leather interior is described as clean, well preserved, and in keeping with its original appearance. Showing 41,315 km and with an MOT valid to April 2027, this 964 arrives ready to be driven and enjoyed, whether on spirited weekend outings, at classic car gatherings, or as part of a discerning collection.image.png1.15 MB
