  • Only 63,575 miles from new

The Appeal

The 456 rejuvenated Ferrari’s front-engined, V12 offering by channeling the style and rarefied air of the Daytona. These were very expensive GTs for a select few.
Today the 456 offers buyers the practicality and usability not often associated with Ferrari. At launch it was the most powerful roadgoing Ferrari this side of the F40. Just 1,548 GTs were built and very few of them featured the highly desirable manual gearbox of this car. It’s an option that opens up the agility and engagement promised by that potent V12 and the tubular steel spaceframe chassis.
Finished in unmarked Blue Le Mans over beige leather, this 1995 456GT has clearly been very well cared for. A thick history file supports that impression, as does a long MOT to January 2025. This is a very appealing - and very rare - example of one of Ferrari’s greatest 2+2 GTs.

The Condition

  • Factory Blu Le Mans (516/c) paintwork over Beige (4208) leather interior
  • Very well kept car with few signs of use or age
  • Five spoke factory alloys with only light marks visible
  • Quality Pirelli tyres in good order
  • Practical 2+2 interior in timewarp condition
  • Dark blue (3282) leather dash top unmarked
  • Biondo carpets (8214) in good order through cabin and boot
  • Factory original specification including Ferrari CD stereo unit
  • Electric front seats
The appeal of the 456GT lies in its very Ferrari-esque mix of potency and luxury, finished with detail flair across the exterior and interior. The Pininfarina styling echoes the Daytona and looks particularly good in muted colours such as the Blu Le Mans of this car. The contrasting beige leather interior provides an appropriately sumptuous accompaniment.
The car is in excellent order with few signs of use or age across the various surfaces. Even the factory alloys are virtually unmarked. It is also pleasingly factory original, right down to the Ferrari sound system.

The Mechanics

  • 430bhp 4 cam 5,474cc hand built V12 engine
  • Rare 6spd manual gearbox
  • Rear transaxle
  • Extensive service history detailed above
  • Regular cambelt changes noted above
  • Reported by the vendor to be an absolute pleasure to drive
Thanks to the hand-built 5.5litre V12 under the neat clamshell bonnet, the 456GT was the most powerful roadgoing Ferrari of its era - only the special order F40 trumped it. With 430bhp accessed via the very rare 6spd manual gearbox, it is easy to understand why the vendor describes this car as an absolute pleasure to drive.
An extensive service history - documented above - attests to the care of its owners and usefully includes several cambelt changes as well as a complete new clutch around 10,000 miles ago. A long MOT to January 2025 provides further reassurance to the buyer.
