The Appeal

Land Rover’s introduction of the Discovery in 1989 proved to be a masterstroke, combining the proven chassis and four-wheel-drive system of the Range Rover with a more practical and family-oriented package. Arriving just as demand for versatile leisure vehicles began to grow, it successfully bridged the gap between rugged off-roader and everyday transport.

As the years have passed, first-generation models have become an increasingly rare sight.
