The Appeal
In the '90s, coupés were back in vogue. With its Mk2 Golf platform and running gear, the crisply styled Corrado was one of the best, and the VR6 Storm the ultimate version. Just 500 were built, of which only 250 were in Mystic Blue like this car.
It is likely one of the best of the handful of survivors. Showing a low mileage for its year, it has been in the hands of the same driver since new, initially as a company car and then, from 2000 privately owned.
The car remains pleasingly factory standard with all of the usual Storm upgrades including 15in BBS ‘Solitude’ alloys and full black leather interior. In recent years it has been reserved for weekend use and it remains in very good order. The MOT runs to August with no advisories.
This is one of the best VR6 Storms we’ve seen in a while and certainly one for the discerning enthusiast and collector.
