The Appeal
The X300’s classic style and smooth Jaguarness makes it a popular emerging classic. Likely few are quite like this one. Not only is it one of just 747 3.2 LWB cars built, it is a very low mileage, highly original car that arrives with us in quite remarkable condition.
Inside and out this is a well kept car thanks to its two careful owners. The first, an Italian lady, was only ever chauffeur driven in the car when she visited London (it was dry stored in winter). The second is a Jaguar enthusiast who has, if anything, treated it with even more care.
The evidence for this is documented in the vast history file. It includes 20 service stamps, all by Jaguar main dealers and well known marque specialists. There is a recent service and long MOT.
This is one of the best examples we have recently seen of a car that is garnering growing interest. It is a collector-quality car ready for its third keeper in 28 years.

The Condition
- Smart Sherwood Green metallic paintwork which is original and very well kept
- No noticeable deterioration to paintwork or bodywork including arches and sills
- We are told there are minor marks to the bumpers but not immediately visible
- Well kept alloy wheels with good finish all round and quality Michelin tyres
- Undersealed in February 2024 using Waxoyl
- Interior recently valeted
- Oatmeal leather interior in very good order with only light driver’s bolster wear
- Leather is reported to be soft and supple
- Recently fitted cream headlining resolves a common issue with these cars
- Original Jaguar radio/cassette with CD multichanger and Harmon Kardon speakers
- Clock in dashboard has been replaced
- Burr walnut veneers in good order with wood and leather wheel
The Mechanics

- Air conditioning unit recently replaced and blows ice cold
- Reported to run and drive very well with no faults
