The Appeal

The 993 was the last, lucky roll of the dice for the classic air cooled 911. Updating the aesthetics increasing the power - again - delivered a potent and well sorted sports car that is becoming increasingly popular with enthusiasts.

This low mileage Carrera convertible has clearly been looked after by its four keepers. The Polar Silver paintwork and black leather interior betray few signs of its 28 years while the thick history file shows regular servicing irrespective of mileage and light enhancements. It is fitted with the 270bhp 3.6litre air cooled flat six mated to the factory 4spd automatic gearbox, a specification that, combined with the roof, makes it perfect for touring.

In the hands of the current keeper since 2010, it has recently been serviced and comes with a long MOT. This is a very tidy, highly presented 993 that is perfect for summer road trips.
