THE APPEAL

Toyota’s MR2 is a legendary sports car that has captured the hearts of enthusiasts worldwide thanks to its mid-engined layout and sleek design. The second generation MR2 debuted in 1989, just over five years after the first. It was more refined, more powerful and more upmarket, with sporty, plush interiors that drew inspiration from its European competitors.

Available as both a coupé and T-bar body style, this generation of MR2 left an incredible mark on the automotive industry, achieving considerable success in motorsport championships around especially in its home country where it dominated the Japanese Grand Touring Championships in the late 1990s.

This 1996 Revision 4 10th Anniversary Edition is presented well and is accompanied by a comprehensive mechanical portfolio. Based on the GT-i T-Bar model the car is additionally equipped with a unique MOMO steering wheel, scuff plates, Anniversary badges and anthracite alloy wheels. An excellent sports car that provides a dynamic, nimble and thrilling driving experience while still offering moderate practicality and the means of carrying the golf clubs to the course in a more enjoyable fashion.
