The Appeal
As Jaguar’s modern XJ saloons come of age, the X300 is a canny choice. These cars were based on the XJ40 but updated with more traditional aesthetics that appeal to enthusiasts. Compared to later cars, they also benefit from the highly regarded and very durable AJ16 straight-six engines.
This XJ6 3.2 Executive is a chance to discover why these cars are a characterful alternative to contemporary German rivals. It is finished in the classic X300 combination of light blue metallic with grey leather and displays low mileage for the year. It presents well across the usual X300 check areas and carries an MOT to November 2026.
The history file shows regular maintenance. The last service was in December 2024 - around 1,500 miles ago - when the automatic gearbox was also serviced. A nice, tidy example of these rewarding and luxurious British saloons.
