The Appeal

The original X100 XK8 is a very Jaguar sort of convertible - sleek, stylish, extremely comfortable and luxurious and, of course, very quick. Early examples as good as this 1997 car are a rare find, but worth seeking out for the quality and purity of their E-Type-influenced lines.

This car spent its life in the dry climates of Florida, California and Utah before recently arriving in Europe. A clean Carfax report records the servicing history and shows regular technical inspections. The last service was 1,000 miles ago in 2021 and it went through a Californian inspection in September 2025.

Appropriately finished in Brooklands Green metallic, similar to British Racing Green, with a beige fabric roof and ‘Coffee’ beige leather interior, this car presents very well in the usual X100 check areas, such as the arches and underside. It carries USA title and will require COC and European registration by the buyer. Once done, you get a very capable and well kept continental tourer to enjoy.
