The P38 was the second generation of Range Rover and launched in 1994 to great success. Everything had undergone a complete redesign and this gave the range rover the modern features that were much needed at the time. In 1995 the Autobiography programme was launched for SE and HSE models where customers could choose upgraded options such as full leather seats or a VHS player.

The P in P38 comes from the codename given to the design - Pegasus, which for many has come to be the iconic Range Rover design.

The seller bought the car in September 2019 from the spouse of the previous owner who passed away and this was the original owner from new. The current owner has spared no expense in looking after this car and is reluctantly selling it as he is moving to Spain and unfortunately does not have room for it in the new house.

Unfortunately we don’t have the full history, however with only two owners from new and given the condition of the vehicle it’s easy to see that it has been very well cared for. The current owner does have the invoices detailing the extensive work they have undertaken during their ownership.

The private reg plate is included along with the previous registration if required.

The interior is in fantastic condition for the age and mileage, we’d be happy saying that even if it was only a few years old and had covered 30k! There are some signs of wear, such as the driver's seat bolster and other common places, but it really is minor and the overall condition of the interior really is exceptional. The owner has also fitted new chrome dials and all new interior pillars.

With full leather seats, lots of optional extras and full walnut trim this Range Rover really shows why the brand dominates the luxury 4x4 sector.

As with the interior the exterior is in fantastic condition throughout. All of the panels are in very good condition alongside all of the plastics and trim. We really only see room for improvement in the wheels and that’s only if we are being picky.

The bonnet has been fully resprayed and the roof has been wrapped with a matt black wrap, new Range Rover badges front and back, new chrome door handles and mirror covers combined with the dark green finish means this range looks exceptional and really makes an impression.

The mechanics are up to the same high standard as aesthetics, it starts and runs perfectly with not even a hint of unwanted noise. The current owner has carried out the following; new ARB links and bushes, new steering damper, air suspension and airbags checked, new universal joint, new water pump and thermostat, new ignition coil and leads, new front headlight and foglight bulbs, new interior bulbs all round, new battery, all new wipers, new window regulator, new chrome tailpipes and a full oil change.

This also includes a full range of checks including differential and transmission fluid levels through to brakes. Speaking of brakes a full set of new discs and pads are included in the sale as well as an ODB connector that can reset the air suspension system should you require it.

We think the pictures speak for themselves on this one, it is a fantastic looking P38 that is sure to make an impression wherever it goes. But looks alone don’t tell the whole story of this exceptional Range Rover, with extensive work having been carried out by the current owner we would be hard pushed to find a better example of a P38 Autobiography from this period.

This car has truly wanted for nothing and it shows in every respect. There are few vehicles as iconic as the Range Rover and this is a fantastic example that should not be missed, bid now for a chance to own this exceptional car.
