The Appeal

It’s no surprise that BMW’s Z3 is having a moment, fuelled by classic enthusiasts seeking more usable, more reliable and easier-to-own alternatives to 60s and 70s roadsters. The robust 1.9L car is arguably closest to the simplicity and ethos of cars like the MGB.

We suspect few, if any, are as good as this 1999 Z3 1.9, which has covered less than 11,000 miles in its 26 years with just three keepers. The mileage is supported by a run of MOTs. The vendor states that it has been dry stored for several years and describes it as being in outstanding original condition throughout.

Recent preparation has included servicing and extensive cosmetic cleaning. Finished in attractive Montreal Blue with beige leather, the car wears its age very lightly and retains many original features, including its factory-fitted radio, floor mats, and even the original 1998 tyres (a spare set of newer alloys and tyres is included). With a fresh MOT, this Z3 offers a great opportunity to buy a highly original Z3 with vanishingly low mileage.
