The Appeal
BMW’s Z3 feels like the classic convertible that has it all. Attractive retro-infused looks, grunty straight six powerplants, agile handling and reassuring BMW solidity and reliability.
Few were specified with the auto, but it suits the bigger-engined 2.8L N52 powerplant well, delivering a relaxing, long-legged cruiser. It is no surprise to learn that the previous keeper used this car for the long bi-annual trips to his French holiday home.
The current keeper acquired the car in 2021 and has kept up the tradition of regular servicing and maintenance. The history file stretches to a reported 20 pages and supports the very low displayed mileage of 61,000 miles.
Finished in the ultra-rare and very pretty colour of Sienna Red, this car presents well. The optional bolted deep dish lattice alloys add extra poise to the shark-like aesthetics. Buyers may note damage to the soft top's rear plastic screen. This occurred when the car was in storage and the vendor is replacing it with a new screen before sale.
