The Appeal
The Ferrari 360 Modena marked a major step forward for Maranello’s mid-engined V8 line. Replacing the F355, it introduced an all-aluminium chassis, cleaner aerodynamics and more modern packaging, while retaining the essential ingredients that define the junior Ferrari formula: a naturally aspirated V8, sharp responses and unmistakable Italian drama.
The 360’s 3.6-litre five-valve V8 remains central to its appeal, delivering its performance with the rev-hungry character and soundtrack expected of a Ferrari of this era. In F1 specification, the paddle-shift transmission gives the car a distinctly late-1990s performance feel, reflecting a period when Ferrari’s road cars were increasingly influenced by its Formula One technology.
Finished in the classic and highly desirable combination of Rosso Corsa over Nero, this 1999 example presents in one of the most recognisable colour schemes for the model. It is also supported by a comprehensive level of service history, while recent attention has included refurbishment of the wheels and removal and refurbishment of the interior sticky switchgear.
As values for the F355 and F430 continue to strengthen, attention is increasingly turning to the Ferrari 360. Well-kept examples—particularly in the timeless Rosso Corsa over Nero colour combination—are becoming more sought after, with collectors recognising the model's blend of usability, analogue driving experience, and growing rarity as an increasingly compelling modern classic.
Praised by the seller for the positive attention it attracts and described as a “boyhood dream” to own, this 360 Modena F1 should prove a rapid, vocal and highly engaging Ferrari for spirited weekend drives, events and longer trips alike. image.png1.69 MB

Finished in the marque’s calling-card hue of Rosso Corsa with a Nero interior and Scuderia Ferrari wing shields, this 360 Modena is every inch the classic Ferrari. Its Pininfarina styling, considered a bold and modern departure from the more angular F355 when new, has aged gracefully, with its organic, flowing curves now arguably even more elegant with the passage of time.
Acquired by the seller to satisfy a boyhood dream, it has benefitted from various improvements, including attention to the interior sticky switchgear and refurbishment of the wheels. image.png1.32 MB
The Mechanics

Producing 395bhp at 8,500rpm and 275lb-ft at 4,750rpm
Flat-plane crankshaft with five valves per cylinder
Six-speed ‘F1’ automated manual transmission, built by Graziano, with paddle shifters
Replacement engine mounts fitted in August 2021
Replacement F1 pump and pump relay fitted in September 2021

Even among Ferraris, starting a 360 Modena is enough to stir excitement. Its flat-plane-crank V8 fires with a sharp, distinctive note before settling into a rich idle, while the period F1 transmission adds a road-racer feel, with paddle-shift control and rapid gear changes.
This example is supported by a strong service history, with the engine mounts, F1 pump and pump relay replaced around five years ago. More recently serviced and accompanied by a clean MOT, it is now ready to be enjoyed by its next enthusiast owner. image.png1.51 MB BEFORE YOU BUY
