Recent brake overhaul: all discs and pads replaced
Detailed maintenance history
The Appeal
The Mk1 Audi TT is one of the most recognisable designs to emerge from the late 1990s, and in range-topping 225 BHP form with the six-speed manual gearbox, it's seriously quick too. Open-top motoring with a punchy turbocharged engine and sharp, Bauhaus-inspired styling makes for a compelling modern classic.
This example has been garage kept since it was first purchased in May 2000, and the current owner has enjoyed it for over five years, servicing it annually and attending to any work required along the way. It has recently benefited from a comprehensive brake overhaul with all discs and pads replaced. The vendor describes the overall condition as very good and sound in every way, with all switchgear, gauges, and dials reported to be in full working order, besides a temperamental radio.
The vendor tells us that this is a reluctant sale prompted only by health reasons. This TT Roadster presents a fine opportunity to acquire a well-cared-for example of an increasingly sought-after open-top Audi.image.png1.31 MB

✓ We want a smooth transaction just as much as you do and as such we run all UK-registered cars and motorbikes for sale on Car & Classic through an online HPI check to verify that they show no insurance database markers for damage or theft, and have no finance owing, allowing you to bid with confidence.
✓ We also check whether vehicles are recorded as being written off as part of an insurance total loss claim at the time an advert is placed on Car & Classic and we helpfully provide write-off category labels (Cat C/D/S/N) for your assistance. However, the presence or absence of a label does not guarantee the vehicle’s status and it is always worthwhile carrying out your own full vehicle history check before making an offer on a vehicle.
✓ Buyers are responsible for vehicle collection
or delivery. Importing vehicles may result in additional customs duties and import taxes so it's worth checking beforehand. It is the bidders responsibility to confirm import eligibility prior to purchase.
