The Appeal

The MG MGF Trophy 160 is a high-performance version of the MGF roadster, introduced in 2001 as the flagship model of the range. Powered by a 1.8-litre VVC (Variable Valve Control) engine producing 160 bhp, it offered sharper acceleration, upgraded suspension, larger brakes, and distinctive styling features including front and rear spoilers, side skirts, and 16-inch alloy wheels. Designed to deliver a more focused driving experience while retaining everyday usability, the Trophy 160 remains one of the most desirable and collectible variants of the MGF.
