Higher performance variant with 6-speed manual transmission and Quattro system
Stunning colour combination of Denim Blue paintwork in great condition over a sophisticated black interior, featuring lightweight front bucket seats and rear seat delete
Benefiting from a recent service totalling around £900 with timing belt changed under previous ownership
The Appeal
Making its debut 25 years ago, the Mk 1 Audi TT took the world by storm with its combination of stunning looks, impressive performance, and sleek and sophisticated interior. The TT was far more than just a design exercise however and underneath those iconic curves it was still very much an Audi, meaning class-leading build quality and clever engineering - such as Audi’s Quattro four-wheel-drive system.
Under the bonnet of this higher-performance 1.8-litre petrol model beats a 20V turbo-charged motor capable of propelling this sporting coupe from 0 to 60 in just 6.1 seconds and reaching a top speed of 150 mph. Combined with a sweet-shifting 6-speed manual and the Quattro system, the TT makes for a great driver’s car.
Offered here for auction is a relatively low mileage example in the stunning shade of Denim Blue. Benefiting from numerous external and internal modifications, including lightweight front bucket seats, rear seat delete, engine upgrades and lowered suspension, this particular TT certainly packs a punch, both in its looks and performance!
