The Appeal
There had been big, sumptuous Mercedes-Benz coupes before. But none quite like the C215 CL-Class. It took the luxury to a new level and matched it with technology. This was Stuttgart’s showpiece.
The CL500 had the 4,966cc M113 V8 delivering a useful 300bhp. Inside there was luxury aplenty and, beneath, a cosseting ride thanks to the firm’s clever Active Body Control suspension system.
This tidy 2002 CL500 may be 22 years old but it retains the majesty for which these these cars are renowned. Full service history and a long MOT further reinforces the sense of a capable, long-distance GT that is ready to relish and enjoy.

- If your maximum bid is equal to or below the reserve price, your maximum bid will be applied in full if you are the highest bidder.
- If you are the highest bidder and place a maximum bid above the reserve, we will automatically put in the reserve as your first bid.
