The Appeal
Since its incarnation in the 1970s, BMW’s big 7-Series wagon has always aimed to give buyers the best of both worlds: sumptuous luxury and an engaging, BMW-style driving experience.
The Chris Bangle-penned E65 and LWB E66 introduced a new style that has influenced BMWs ever since. These cars also came loaded with technological goodies like the iDrive system, adaptive cruise control and Bi-Xenon headlight. That design and those innovations mean these cars still feel modern 20+ years after they left the factory.
The E66 offered an extended wheelbase for the higher power engine options but was a rare option. So this 2003 745Li is an unusual treat, a spacious and luxurious limousine powered by BMW’s venerated N62 4.4litre V8.
It is a very low mileage car with good history and a full 12 months MOT with no advisories. As rewarding for passengers as it is for the driver, this is a treat for all concerned.
