The Appeal

This was arguably the peak of the 'M' Car. The E46 was visceral yet classy, packed with the S54 powerplant that offered a suitably shrieking 8,000rpm red line and a whopping 343hp. Despite that, it was still loaded with rather distinguished, straight-fronted styling that felt sophisticated and smart. Few M-Cars past or present have managed to capture the sheer magic of the E46's formula, and it's become one of the most desirable modern-classic Beamers on the market.
