The E53 X5 was BMW’s first entry into the SUV field, it swiftly became a very popular and desirable machine. Well specified and benefitting from the usual BMW build quality, it’s little wonder that it has been a sales success.
Here we have a smartly presented V8 model, with a good history, long MOT and well below average mileage. Having been little used over the last 10 years or so, it would make a perfect daily for anyone who appreciates a little extra ride height, a powerful V8 and a well-specified appointed interior.FwFX417a14AT7q5GbU5XBDMe3niFpVZsxhdOWRcr.jpg1.92 MB

Current owners since January 2010
Part garaged and little used, hence being offered for sale
Black Sapphire Metallic paintwork looks to be in reasonable condition, with some swirling and minor blemishes, although a polish would soon lift it significantly
All of the bodywork, external trim and badging looks to be in good order, with no significant damage or wear evident, just some marks to the driver’s door handle
Glass area and light lenses are all intact and appear to have no cracks or chips, although the headlights are a little cloudy and may require a polish
Original 19” 5-spoke alloys, shod with good quality tyres, two of which are new
Clean and tidy underside, with no signs of damage or notable corrosion
There’s a reason the X5 is enduringly popular, as modern transport it does pretty much everything most people will ever need to do, and does it well.
Offering great visibility, some light off-road ability, lots of room and an excellent specification, there’s much to recommend it. Add to that this example’s low mileage, long MOT and good presentation and you have an attractive and very adaptable daily driver.
