The Appeal
Bolting a supercharger to its new AJV8 engine returned Jaguar to the front ranks of the sports car fray. Close to 400bhp, accompanied by a distinctive supercharger whirr, made these cars viscerally quick, but ones blessed with a Jaguar-esque level of refinement and luxury.
This well maintained car leans into the more purposeful end of that theme. The potent Midnight Black metallic exterior is enhanced by 21in split rim alloys while inside there is a desirable Ivory leather interior with elm wood veneers. It is all in very good order.
A continuous run of service stamps attests to the care of its owners. It comes to market with an MOT to September 2024. Few cars offer the same combination of performance and comfort as a good X100 XKR and this convertible certainly looks like a good one.
