The Appeal
The R230 SL55 is the GT car with supercar pretentious. Its sonorous 5.4L supercharged V8 delivers 500bhp and the sort of performance that seems at odds with it luxurious cabin. Then there’s that ground-breaking folding hard top, which makes it ideal for any-weather motoring.
This 2003 car is said to have been first registered in Germany before then spending its life in Japan, a national famous for its salt-free roads that preserve chassis and bodywork. It arrived in Italy recently and is ready for EU registration. We aretold that VAT and import duties have been paid.
Finished in black with a matching black interior, trimmed with carbon fibre, this is a well-kept car that has covered just 71,000 km from new. Perfect for some summer road trips.
