The Appeal
After several decades of success with four-cylinder sports cars, in 1968, Morgan decided to up the ante and build a car around the newly released Rover V8. Appropriately coined the ‘Plus 8’, Morgan’s new car had vast reserves of power straight from the factory and for years was regarded one of Britain’s fastest accelerating vehicles.
Here we have one of the last of the original Plus 8s - a 35th Anniversary model produced just one year before the Rover V8 would cease production. Resplendent in a striking colour scheme, this Malvern muscle car has been cherished since new, enjoying regular maintenance and garage storage. It’s equipped with a raft of factory optional extras and has been further enhanced with uprated front suspension, brakes, the use of chemical-based coolant and a modified exhaust system.

- If your maximum bid is equal to or below the reserve price, your maximum bid will be applied in full if you are the highest bidder.
- If you are the highest bidder and place a maximum bid above the reserve, we will automatically put in the reserve as your first bid.
