The Appeal
The DB7 is one of the only modern Astons without a Bond connection and yet it is amongst the firm’s most desirable models. It is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful cars of the last 30 years and bridges the traditional and modern eras with its V12 tech and commitment to wood trimming.
Just 1,786 V12 Vantage Volantes were built and this car was amongst the last. It began life as a demonstrator, which likely explains the popular Tungsten Silver paintwork and high specification, before joining the current keeper’s collection in 2007. He has garaged it throughout and used it very sparingly - the odometer still shows less than 30,000 miles.
Despite the parsimonious use the car has an impeccable service and MOT history. There are 19 stamps from main dealers and well-regarded specialists. In August 2025 the car received £5,375 of work by Aston Workshop Beamish including a full service and extensive list of fettling work, which we’ve documented below. The MOT history is equally impressive showing a run of regular passes without advisories. The current test runs to July 2026, again with no advisories.
This is a very tidy DB7 and one of the nicest we’ve seen. The joy of these cars is that they can be properly used, perhaps for a continental trip, but they are increasingly collectable too. This one would suit either very well.
