The Appeal
The DB9 feels like the car Aston Martin was always working towards making, from the early David Brown post-war GT ventures through the Bond cars to the beautiful DB7. It’s a fully resolved car that marries the firm’s hand-built traditions with clever, lightweight aluminium technology.
That, plus the association of a certain secret agent, all explain why the car is garnering renewed interest. It even featured as a recent cover star in enthusiast magazine Classic & Sports Car.
This car is finished in the popular combination of dark grey metallic with burgundy leather. It’s had just two keepers in its life, the current once since 2016. There is a recent MOT that provides an insight into the condition, but the car is sold with various mechanical issues. These are highlighted in the video. Buyers should note these faults before bidding.
