THE APPEAL
Unmodified and unmolested, this great looking convertible version of the hugely popular E46 is in good condition and ready for those roof down, summer cruises. The 2.2L inline 6 engine has been maintained regularly with any work required being completed without hesitation.
THE HISTORY AND PAPERWORK

First registered in March 2004, the car has been in the ownership of five individuals with the current having the vehicle since 2018. Manufacturer manual and service book full of stamps is present with the last being carried out in October 2021. In addition, invoices for other maintenance carried out by the current owner are present, as are past MOT’s with the latest valid until October 2022.

Black is the theme inside this E46, comfortable black leather seats, with matching carpets and dash. There are some areas of wear, mainly on the front seats which have been pictured. Generally, this 18 year old car is in good order, the front seats are embracing and stylish, heated too and suit the car's sporty character superbly.
A simple but adequate dash and dial layout is present with the original radio and cassette player there too. Another nice subtle addition is the carbon fibre style trim that goes across the centre console and dash, it’s still black but different enough to break up the otherwise monochromatic design.

Without question the E46 is a great looking car, its athletic, powerful styling combined with the drop top aspect make this a sublime car to drive and enjoy, especially during those summer months. There are a couple blemishes on the car, a few scratches to the passenger side skirt and the alloys but other than that, the general condition is great.
The Titanium silver paint is a recognisable colour on these BMW’s but a fantastic colour nonetheless and a fabulous colour to show off the cars sporty aesthetics. The soft top was replaced prior to the current ownership in 2018 but in great condition and fully operational.

Mechanically the BMW is reported to be of sound performance. It was started briefly during our visit and fired up without any dramatics and reved sweetly.
The car was last serviced October 2021 and has general maintenance carried out since 2018 including a new battery, air mass sensor, brake pad sensor and fuel tank cap. All maintenance appears to be of low cost and irregular, exactly what you’d expect from these German executive motors..

An affordable and fun convertible, with great looks and good mechanical history. Its road ready with only a couple aesthetic blemishes to sort if desired but the enjoyment won’t be affected if you decide not to.
