The Appeal
Bentley’s original Continental GT had few peers when it came to combining brutal performance with hand-crafted GT luxury. Which explains why it sold so well and buyers have plenty to choose form.
These are sophisticated cars that demand care to keep them in good order. So the trick when buying one 20 years on, is to find one that has been cherished by all its keepers. Such cars are far rare, but here is exactly that. It is a 41,000 mile, low-keeper car with impeccable servicing and maintenance history. Despite he paltry mileage, it has been serviced 20 times by main dealers and well regarded specialists like The Chelsea Workshop. The last service was at 40,651 miles in June 2024. The MOT runs to July 2026 with no advisories.
Finished in the desirable combination of Cypress Green over Saddle leather, a pleasing alternative to the more common silvers and blacks, it is in really good condition inside and out. You’d imagine it was far younger than its 20 years. The distinctive private plate is included.
The vendor says:
“This is a superb example of the Bentley Continental, with an immaculate interior which has been beautifully cared for and a testament to my fathers meticulous attention to detail. Bought by my father only a few years ago, its only been under our wing for a short time, but this Bentley Continental is a dream to drive, smooth, comfortable and feels incredibly luxurious. If you want that ultimate in luxury, then Bentley provide it in spades. Our car has very low mileage and was kept beautifully as it was by its previous 3 owners. It has a fantastic interior, with dark tan leather seats in impeccable condition, and still has the deep, rich smell of new leather. The heated seats and massage function make for an superbly comfortable driving experience. The coachwork colour is described as Green, but it has a metallic grey finish in different lights, very unusual and sought after, especially when teamed with the dark tan interior.”
