The Appeal
Well, here it is, the last of an era. The Scaglietti was the last front-engined V12 Ferrari available for factory-order with a manual gearbox. Of the 3,025 cars sold, just 199 customers worldwide selected the 6-speed gated manual, making this car, in special-order blue and red, exceptionally rare.
Beyond the enthusiast-enticing specification, this very tidy 2006 car is an exceptionally low-mileage example that has been part of the current keeper’s large collection since 2018. In that time, it has been used very sparingly and always carefully garaged, which explains the condition. It is said to run and drive well and comes with a lengthy, advisory-free MOT to March 2027.
Since buying the car, the vendor has fitted a high-end sports exhaust, which he says produces a characterful crackle on throttle release. The original exhaust is included together with a Ferrari dust cover and an additional leather driver seat cover.
For those seeking a manual V12 Ferrari grand tourer in a rare specification and presented in very good order, this 612 Scaglietti warrants serious attention.

With its special-order blue-over-red colour scheme, this manual-gearbox Scaglietti dials up the rarity even further. It presents well, with few signs of use inside and out as befits the low mileage. Since the Scaglietti was not really designed to have a manual gearbox, these cars feature bespoke factory centre consoles that arguably place them more in line with the traditional, timeless aesthetic of earlier cars than the more modern look of the auto-box cars.

With less than 35,000 km recorded from new and very sparing use in recent years, this car is the sort of collector-quality example you hope to find. We are told that it runs very well, which is borne out by the current MOT. It runs to March 2027 with no advisories
