The Appeal
In 2007 the Defender got a range of improvements that make these later, final models the most usable. In came the 2.4L Duratorq diesel engine, a 6spd box and a full width dashboard. The Defender also gained the improved heating and ventilation system from its Discovery sibling.
This 2007 L316 Defender 90 is a really smart example in silver metallic with black roof, guards and Sawtooth alloys. It builds on those factory improvements with a host of Manor Automotive upgrades including a Stage 1 remap, Terra Firma springs and a high end Pioneer audio system with Focal speakers. This work has been undertaken since the vendor acquired the Defender in May 2023.
The vendor has entrusted it to Manor Automotive for servicing and maintenance. It was serviced in late 2023 and received a new starter motor last year. The current MOT has no advisories.
