Highlights
- Sports specification with carbon fibre interior and vario panoramic roof
- Two former registered keepers
- In current ownership for nearly five years
- Service book, all manuals, and service history paperwork dating back to 2007
The Appeal
The post-facelift R230-generation SL350 married grand touring refinement with open-top sporting ability, and the introduction of the 7G-Tronic seven-speed automatic for 2007 brought a notable improvement in smoothness and response. This Sports-specification example goes further still, with carbon fibre interior trim and the desirable vario panoramic roof, a combination that distinguishes it from the more commonly found standard cars.
Having had just two former registered keepers, this SL350 spent much of its earlier life stored in an underground car park in Spain, where it served as a monthly holiday car. The current owner purchased it in 2021 at 91,474 miles and has since driven it to and from Spain twice, having it serviced by a specialist before and after each trip with all necessary works carried out. Now UK-based and kept garaged, the vendor describes it as looking smart and driving very smoothly, with the engine and gearbox stated to be standard from new. Finished in Obsidian Black over black leather, it presents well and comes with a history file including the service book, all manuals, and paperwork dating back to 2007.
