The Appeal
Few marques have such a dedicated following as Alfa Romeo and with good reason, the Italian brand has produced some of the best looking cars of all time and all of which will put a smile on your face when you’re behind the wheel. It’s often said about Alfa Romeo that they are a car every petrolhead should own at least once and we can’t think of any better example than this generation of the famous Spider.
Borrowing many of the design elements from the Brera and then improving on them this Spider is an exceptionally beautiful car from every angle. The 2.2 litre engine is smooth and perfect for cruising along the coast with the top down, but responds enthusiastically to the throttle eating up the revs whilst sounding sublime. With a very long MOT, low mileage and in fantastic condition throughout this is a fantastic example of a beautiful car that’s ready to enjoy.

The Interior

This Alfa doesn’t just look great on the outside; the interior is beautiful with full two tone leather and lots of aluminium. From the embossed Alfa Romeo logo on the headrests to the centre console that’s angled towards the driver the care taken with the design is apparent everywhere you look. Finished to a very high standard with a feeling of quality to match its German rivals the interior of the spider is fantastic. The seats look great whilst providing a high level of comfort and support. There is very little wear visible to any of the interior with it presenting very well.

The Alfa Romeo Spider is a fantastic looking car, from the headlights to the distinctive grille it’s everything you could want from an Italian roadster. It looks particularly good finished in metallic blue and the car presents very well. It’s in very good condition throughout including the soft top. There is no kerbing to the wheels, although they could benefit from some light attention to really make them shine.

As with the rest of the car it presents very well mechanically. The engine bay is clean and tidy and the underside presents very well. The undersides look particularly good and have clearly benefited from the un-salted roads in Japan. The car starts easily and idles well with no unwanted noises and the owner reports that it drives perfectly. The gearbox also works seamlessly with the paddle shifters adding to the driving experience.
Summary
The Spider is a fantastic looking car and this one is no exception, in very good condition inside and out and with low mileage, a long MOT and a very recent full service it’s ready to enjoy.
