The Appeal
Like a fine hand-crafted Patek Philippe watch or Saville Row Suit, the DB9 offers buyers something bespoke in a world of seemingly generic GTs. It cleverly blends traditional materials with a thoroughly modern, lightweight aluminium construction, a mix that is both characterful and utterly capable.
Good DB9s then, make excellent weekend or long-distance touring cars. This 2008 example is a facelift model - although it retains the original, more popular dash design - and eschews the more common silvers and greys in favour of understated Obsidian Black. Inside there is a contrasting cream leather cabin.
The car is in very good condition for its age and mileage. The service history shows a run of regular stamps, all by main dealers. The MOT is usefully long and runs to late October 2026.
The vendor acquired the car and has continued to use it sparingly. A DB9 is a fine introduction to Aston Martin, and this car looks well-kept and honest.
