Introduced in 2003, the DB9 was Aston Martin’s flagship model – a large luxury GT with supercar performance and stunning styling.
It was also the first Aston to be entirely designed, developed, engineered and constructed at the company’s new manufacturing facility at Gaydon, Warwickshire, from its days under Ford’s Premier Auto Group.
This example was supplied new to its first owner in December 2008 and has averaged less than 1,000 miles a year in its 14-year life, covering just 12,824 miles from new.
It is currently with its second owner, who has had it for five years but has decided to sell it through lack of use.
It’s a wonderful car presented in excellent overall order.

THE INTERIOR
Charcoal leather
Titanium and piano black trim highlights
High specification
Excellent condition throughout
With less than 13k on the clock it comes as no surprise to find that the DB9 is in fabulous internal condition, the Dark Charcoal leather upholstery in fantastic order and the door trims, carpets and headlining free from any major signs of wear.
The only minor issue is some very light scratches to the plastic trim in front of the handbrake.
Otherwise, it’s near perfect and completely standard, with alloy, titanium and piano black trim highlights
THE EXTERIOR
Stunning Onyx Black Metallic
19-inch alloys with Bridgestone Potenza tyres
Superb panels and paint
No accident damage
The Aston presents beautifully in Onyx Black, with all of its original paintwork and trim.
It’s a great-looking car in truly wonderful condition, with no evidence of any damage and an exceptional paint finish.
The alloy wheels are in generally good order but there are a few of kerb marks, notably on the nearside front, which a new owner may wish to get sorted.
There’s also a small chip to the nearside front headlight lens, albeit barely visible.
It has always been stored in a garage and used only in dry weather, while the vendor reports that it has also been regularly valeted.
THE MECHANICS
6.0-litre V12
Automatic transmission with paddle-operated manual shift
Serviced 3,000 miles ago by Aston Martin Works Service
Drives without fault
Powered by a Ford-developed V12, the DB9’s performance is in true supercar territory.
Quite apart from that beguiling soundtrack (and nothing sounds as good as 12 cylinders on full chat), it’s a rapid car with a 0-60 time of 4.9 seconds and a top speed of 186 mph – it’s a quick car!
The vendor reports that it runs without fault and is a joy to drive, while it was most recently serviced in 2019 when it had covered 9,500 miles, the work carried out by Aston Martin’s own Works Service division in Newport Pagnell.
SUMMARY
Finished in the best colour and with a tiny mileage, this is quite a special DB9 and one that deserves to go to a home where it will be cherished by a collector.
It’s in stunning order with barely a mark and has to be up there with the very best examples on the market.

About Max Bids
The max bid process allows you to bid without any hassle.
Enter your maximum bid and we will then bid on your behalf to ensure you're the highest bidder - just enough to keep you in the lead and only up until your maximum.
Anti-sniping
C&C prevent auction snipers from bidding in the last seconds to win an auction.
Auctions are extended by 3-minutes if anyone bids within the last 2 minutes to allow other bidders to react and counter-bid.
Auto-bidding increments
If your maximum bid is equal to or below the reserve price, your maximum bid will be applied in full if you are the highest bidder.
If you are the highest bidder and place a maximum bid above the reserve, we will automatically put in the reserve as your first bid.
Once the reserve has been met, Car & Classic will make sure you are the highest bidder using only the bidding increments stated below.
We will keep you in the lead up until your maximum bid OR the increment closest to your maximum bid, providing your maximum bid is enough to cover the increment value.

Automatically outbid immediately
When you place a max bid and are outbid immediately that means that another bidder has placed a max bid limit which is higher than yours. You can bid again and we will use our automatic bid system to try and get you as the highest bidder.
Matching max bids
When there are two max bids of the same value, the one placed first remains the lead bidder.
What are pre-bids?
A pre-bid means you’re able to place a bid before the official start of the auction.
You will be notified whether or not you are the highest bidder when the auction starts.
Problem with your bid
Bids are contractually binding. To help protect you, we have some rules in place if we think it's been mistyped. Please check and amend what you have entered.
