The current keeper has had the car for 3 years, and during that time they have continued this excellent example’s pattern of regular professional maintenance, and have looked after the car with the utmost care. It is garage-stored and not used in poor weather. The vehicle comes with some paperwork and receipts for servicing and routine maintenance carried out, but due to the low miles there is not as much paperwork as perhaps one would expect for a car of this age. The vehicle has recently had a full service and fresh battery carried out at Jaguar. V5, Owners manuals and books are all present.

The interior of this fine motor is a sight to behold, featuring supple black leather seats and dashboard, with silver carbon weave effect trims. It also sports a lovely gloss piano black centre console surround. It has been extremely well cared for, with everything in excellent condition, very clean and well looked after overall. There are some white marks in some areas however it would appear that these could be cleaned without much issue.
The car has a wonderful Bowers & WIlkins stereo system should you for some reason decide that you fancy a change from the supercharged V8 soundtrack! The sporty feel continues with the Red start/stop engine button, and Jaguar R badging reminding you of the power that lies beneath your right foot. The car also has all the options you would expect including fully electric memory seats, cruise control, front and rear heated screens, and parking sensors. A very difficult car to fault, and has been exceptionally well cared for by the current keeper.

This fantastic XKR is presented in gleaming black paint that has been kept fantastically clean and well polished. The lovely original 20 inch Jaguar Senta wheels are finished in silver and are also in excellent shape, and all tyres have plenty of tread. The convertible top, also finished in black, is in top condition, with no major marks or blemishes to be found.
All glass on the vehicle is clean and clear. This sporty machine also features a tasteful dash of chrome, which nods to this being a luxury vehicle but not so much that it detracts from the sporty feel of the car. There is of course, as with any car used on the road, some extremely minor blemishes, but they have to be viewed in the right lighting to be visible. This wonderful example has always been stored in a garage, and the current keeper never drives it in the rain. This great care taken to preserve the car along with regular maintenance and cleaning have resulted in probably one of the best examples remaining of this model.

Clearly no expense has been spared in maintaining the car, with everything mechanical in fantastic condition. The supercharged V8 engine runs perfectly, and with a fantastic sound to match. Due to the low miles and the lack of use in poor weather, the car is incredibly clean underneath and under the bonnet and wants for nothing mechanically. There has not been any major work done worth noting due to the car having very few miles on it, however comprehensive servicing has made sure of the car’s excellent state and will provide many more years and miles of luxurious, sporty motoring.
Summary
Quite possibly one of the finest examples of the Jaguar XKR remaining, this is a rarely used and exceptionally well cared for example with low miles, and no repairs or major work having ever been needed. You will struggle to find a better example if you are in the market for a luxurious, sporty V8 convertible from one of the greatest British names in the car industry.
