The Appeal
The X351 ushered in a very new type of XJ style, one that drew inspiration from the yachts lining the shore at Cannes and Monaco. It was long, svelte and handsome like a Jaguar, but in a new and interesting way.
These are beautiful cars to admire as much for how they look as how they go. And they do go well - aluminium construction and, as here, 5L V8 power make them as quick and - nearly - as nimble as a sports car.
No wonder dignitaries and Royalty loved them. This one began its life on the Royal Fleet, which likely explains the tasteful Indigo Blue over Navy leather colour combination, the elevated Portfolio specification and the excellent condition. If you want one of these cars, there can’t be many as well appointed and with such great provenance.
Naturally, it has been very well maintained, the mileage kept below average, and the servicing kept up to date. There is also a lengthy MOT with no advisories.
This is a sumptuous saloon and one that will reward the driver and its passengers on any trip. It really is the sweet spot being non-supercharged. Less highly strung, handles better and also lighter than the Supersport - A TRUE GENTLEMAN'S EXPRESS!

SellerHi, I've very much enjoyed owning this XJ since February '25. I collecting the car in person from reputable dealers Harrison and Hardwick of Weybridge. Through no fault of the car, the September sale which you refer to didn't progress because of the winning bidders personal circumstances... Hence the re-run at this time. I hope this helps and gives some reassurance !
