The Appeal
Here we have an exemplary example of one of the finest Grand Tourers in superb condition and low mileage. The three-door fastback coupe originally debuted at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2005. Since then, the X-150 as it’s known, has been given a facelift and a new 5.0 litre V8 engine to replace the 4.2 V8, giving it that little extra power on the open road should you need it, and let’s face it, its nice to know its there even if you don’t.
This XK looks sublime from every angle and has all the comfort and style you would expect to find in a Big Cat geared for performance. Presented in Silver with new 19” black alloys fitted certainly give this one some road presence, and with its excellent service history and low mileage will undoubtedly attract a lot of interest.
The History and Paperwork
- Supplied new in 2010
- Originally a Jaguar demonstration vehicle,

The Interior
- Original black leather interior in fabulous condition throughout. Some very minor signs of wear to the driver’s seat but no more than one would expect from a car with this mileage
- Dashboard and trim are free from any cracks or damage
- Vendor advises there are a couple of small marks on the inside of the driver’s side A pillar which may be cigarette burns but these are hardly noticeable

The Exterior
- Original Silver paintwork in fantastic condition. There is just one small mark on nearside rear wheel arch measuring a couple of centimetres and both wing mirrors have some minor grazing which is just visible on close inspection
- Free from any dents
- No stone chips to the bonnet
- Front bumper appears to have been painted at some point in the cars past but there’s no documentation relating to this
- Upgraded 19” black Jaguar alloys all round
- Original 18” Jaguar alloys are also included should the new owner wish to revert to the originals. However, these have evidence of slight kerbing so one may wish to have them refurbished to bring up to the standard of the rest of the car
- Recent tyres all round, front two look nearly new, rear two have approximately 30% tread remaining
- Lights all work and are free from any cracks or damage

The Mechanics

The Summary
Thirteen years on the XJ still looks fresh as the day it left the forecourt. A fine example of the 5.0 litre XK, with very low mileage, few owners, a high specification and a full Jaguar service history and presented in near immaculate condition.
