The Honda Acty belongs to Japan’s Kei truck vehicle class, which requires these mini vehicles to conform to maximum vehicle dimensions and engine displacement. 

Naturally, Kei class trucks are known for their tiny size, light weight, and engines with a displacement of 660cc or less. 

Those already familiar with vehicles from the Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) will likely have already noticed the sheer popularity shown for Kei class vehicles across the globe.

The Honda Acty is one of the more instantly recognizable Kei trucks and is a highly sought-after vehicle outside of Japan.

This eye-catching Honda Acty was imported to the UK in 2018 and is yet to receive its first registered UK owner. 

Since arriving in the country, the truck has been treated to a 3 stage Orange Pearl paint job, 14” wheels, a Tonka Livery, and has received a full service. 

Now, the truck is ready to be enjoyed by its first owner here in the UK. With the vehicle being in fantastic working order and benefitting from a full 12 months MOT, the lucky buyer is sure to have many enjoyable miles out of this full-size Tonka toy.

Although not much is known about the vehicle’s time in Japan, the interior is believed to be original, and certainly appears in keeping with the truck’s low mileage. 

Due to the nature of these kei-class utility vehicles, the cabin isn’t known for being the most luxurious or complex interior ever produced. It is in fact, rather minimal and packed only with the absolute essentials. 

Despite being quite a basic interior, it is certainly comfortable enough, and the Acty’s seating position allows for an excellent view of the road.

Both front seats are in excellent condition, and could very easily be restored to like-new condition with a good detail, as could the original headliner. Both door cards, the dashboard, and the steering wheel follow suit, showing very few signs of use in keeping with the mileage. 

A rather remarkable point to note is that the JDM safety flare can still be found in the passenger’s footwell. 

As the name itself would suggest, you’re treated to a truck bed for storage as opposed to a measly boot. Due to their small cabin, these Kei trucks can actually fit a surprising amount of cargo in the rear, subject to their load capacity of course.

Almost as if the vehicle begs to not be overlooked due to its small size, this Honda Acty shows off a striking orange paint job and wears black Tonka decals. 

This is certainly not a vehicle you’ll lose in a car park and is guaranteed to turn heads wherever it ventures. 

The 3 stage paintwork is in excellent condition having only been completed rather recently and takes on multiple new tones of orange and yellow in the sunlight. As you may also notice, the vehicle sports Tonka details, painted badges, and black details throughout. 

The bed is also in fantastic condition, having been finished with a hard-wearing satin black coat. Various details around the car worth noting are the original Japanese inspection sticker and the addition of grip tape to the outer edges of the rear bed.

A quick glance underneath will also reveal a similar condition, with no corrosion being visible. As this vehicle has only recently been imported from Japan and has been coated underneath, it is highly unlikely that you will find any of the issues you would come to expect with a UK car of the same age. 

Overall, this mighty Kei truck is in excellent condition, and will no doubt be a star at shows, and continue to attract the attention of keen onlookers on the road.
