The Appeal
Continuing BMW’s tradition of building some of the finest sports saloons on the planet, the F30 3-Series is a modern, stylish and very capable machine. In Luxury specification, it also benefits from being fully loaded with all the kit you could need.
Of particular note in this example is the iconic and potent six-cylinder drivetrain. A BMW staple for many years, the inline six has been gradually replaced in mainstream models with turbocharged four cylinder engines. It’s a delight to see that this 335i retains not only an inline-six engine but bolsters them with a brace of turbos. Add to this the fine service record and desirable specification and you have a vehicle that really shines.

- The headlining is neat and tidy, with no signs of sagging, damage or staining
- The car is fitted with the optional M Sport multi-function steering wheel
- All of the switchgear and instrumentation looks to be in fine fettle, with slight evidence of use and minor blemishes commensurate with the car’s age and mileage

- Gloss red paintwork shows very nicely, with no major blemishes or marks we could see
- All of the body panels look straight and clean, we didn’t see any corrosion, the swage lines and creases look crisp while the panel gaps look even and correct
- All of the external trim elements appear to be present and correct, with no damage we could see
- 19-inch 14-spoke ‘M Sport’ wheels are finished in silver and present in good condition
- The tyres are low profile items and appear to have good tread levels
- Seller has the original wing mirror caps and bumper
The Mechanics
- 2,979cc twin-turbocharged inline-six, offering 302hp and 295lb-ft to the rear wheels
