It's hard not to wax lyrical about the BMW R1200GS Adventure - this was one of most accomplished long-distance touring mounts of the 21st century, and it's still a highly celebrated, clamoured for bike today. With its air/oil-cooled flat-twin engine, generous fuel capacity, and formidable all-terrain ability, it's little wonder.
This 2012 example has been in the hands of its current keeper for approximately a decade, during which time it has been used primarily for European touring. It has been thoughtfully upgraded with a suite of quality components - from Touratech suspension and a full Akrapovic titanium exhaust to Sargent seats and Flexx anti-vibration handlebars. The original exhaust, seats, suspension, handlebars, spot lights, and sump guard have all been retained, however, and are included with the sale.
