Highlights
- Apparently unused TGI Fridays display bikes
- Professionally customised as TGI Fridays promotional display motorcycles

- Previously displayed at Milton Keynes Stadium and Rushden Lakes
The Appeal
Blacked-out bobber styling and that rumbling 883cc Evolution V-Twin made Harley’s ‘Iron 883’ a huge success, popular with die-hard enthusiasts and with newer, younger buyers thanks to its ‘Dark Custom’ aesthetic.
That likely explains why themed restaurant chain TGI Fridays chose a couple of XL883Ns to grace its restaurants. The vendor has two bikes available, both likely unused and appear not to have been registered. They wear red-and-white branded liveries complete with striped bodywork, branded fuel tanks and bespoke Fridays detailing — making them unique among Iron 883s. They have spent their lives as indoor static displays in the restaurants, with one of them also displayed at Milton Keynes Stadium and the other at Rushden Lakes.
The vendor describes them as being in very good overall cosmetic condition for their age, with only minor scrapes and signs of long-term storage noted. Neither comes with a V5C logbook or keys, and their mechanical condition has not been verified, so recommissioning would be required for any prospective road use. Sold as seen, they represent an unusual opportunity for collectors, Harley-Davidson enthusiasts, or anyone seeking a distinctive piece of Americana and advertising memorabilia.
