The Appeal
It’s no real surprise that Audi’s R8 was so successful, going on to outsell most supercar exotica over its long production run. Unlike many of them, it looked as good at the end of its 17-year life as it did at the start. The R8’s clever trick was to mix reliable Audi engineering with the sort of thrills usually reserved for products of Sant’Agata or Maranello.
