The Appeal
The appeal of knowing that your daily driver can tackle pretty much anything you throw at it is easy to see. Jeep’s Grand Cherokee has long been a byword for capable luxury, and this ‘Summit’ edition is certainly no different. Featuring a powerful six-cylinder turbo-diesel, all-wheel drive powertrain and a cabin replete with creature comforts and luxuries, it can rightly lay claim to being all the car you ever need.

The Exterior
- Gorgeous ruby red metallic paintwork shows beautifully well, with some minor marks and imperfections
- The only notable mark we saw was a scuff to the near-side corner of the rear bumper
- The bodywork presents nicely, looking to be clean and straight, with even shut lines and no dents or dings apparent
- All of the trim and badging, as well as the glass elements and light lenses look to be in good order, with no significant wear or damage
- We noted that the chrome, especially at the front and rear, is a little speckled
- Automatic headlights
- Five ‘Y’ spoke, 20-inch alloy wheels wear a chrome finish that is showing some signs of corrosion and spidering – a common issue with these cars
- Underneath, everything looks clean and tidy, with no obvious damage and just a little surface corrosion to some of the drivetrain components
