The Appeal
Thanks to some questionable marketing, the XE is one of those brilliant saloons that doesn’t get the attention it deserves. Its aluminium construction and suspension make it technologically innovative and great to drive, qualities lauded by contemporary reviewers and well known to its coterie of enthusiasts.
This 2017 example has the specification, condition and maintenance records that make it stand out. Finished in smart dark blue metallic with a black perforated leather interior, it is an elevated Portfolio model with the economical 2L diesel engine. Keeping things planted is Jaguar’s well-regarded all wheel drive system.
