The Appeal
When it arrived in 2012, the fourth-generation L405 Range Rover had a considerable legacy to live up to after the venerable and much-loved L322 model. Thanks to the new aluminium monocoque construction, which made it lighter and gave it improved driving dynamics, more powerful engines, and a greater array of off-road tech, the L405 successfully managed to surpass its predecessor with a greater breadth of all-round ability both on and off-road.
This opulently appointed Autobiography spec example comes with a main dealer service history record, subtly upgraded exterior styling, and a luxuriously equipped cabin with a stylishly trimmed two-tone interior that is brimming with high-end tech. This L405 model was the last to get the hugely capable 4.4-litre TD V8 diesel engine, and here it produces 340PS and 700Nm of torque, making it the perfect foil as a daily family hauler or as a tow car.
