Much like a Morgan, the Healy Enigma combines the best of old and new to create a thoroughly usable sports car.
In the case of the Healy, it takes the proven dynamics and reliability of a Mazda MX-5 and combines them with a V8 engine and classically inspired bodywork. This Mk3 Enigma houses a Lexus 4.0-litre V8 producing between 256 and 300 bhp: a significant step up from the 2.0-litre, 158 bhp version that also wears the Enigma badge.
This is a factory-built, turn-key example, assembled in Eastern Europe and given its final finishing in the UK by Martin Williamson himself. The suspension is designed to offer considerably greater comfort over long distances than the donor car.
