Camper vans are more popular than ever - and it’s easy to see why.

This short-wheelbase 2020 Volkswagen Transporter is supremely usable. It incorporates a clever elevating roof with sleeping compartment, a large lower bed and an ingenious kitchen unit which slides out at the rear once the tailgate is opened.
