The F-150 is Ford’s best-selling vehicle in the USA, where V8-powered trucks still have an incredible following. But this one won’t be an everyday sight across the Atlantic, let alone in the UK where it could well be the only example.
Just 300 of the F-150 Shelby Super Snake were built in 2021, following its unveil at the Monterey Speed Week. Of those, 250 went to the USA and 50 to Canada.
It’s the most powerful street truck that Shelby has ever produced, with an eyewatering 775bhp from its Ford ‘Coyote’ V8 engine, thanks in no small part to a huge Whipple 3.0 supercharger, along with a billeted throttle body, performance air intake, high flow filter, Shelby Borla performance exhaust and adjustable coilover shock absorbers. It’s a mean and menacing piece of kit – and it’s huge.
For muscle car fans and truck lovers alike, this is a very special vehicle. An ultra-rarity globally, and ready to register in the UK. It is currently here on a temporary import customs bond, so the buyer will also need to pay VAT and import duty at the point of registration.

Inside, the F-150 is as chunky and purposeful as it looks from the outside. It features carbon-fibre effect inserts and a smart column-mounted gearshift, which automatically shifts to park if you switch the truck off and remove the key.
The seats are trimmed in Nappa leather with a snakeskin-effect surface, with stitched highlights picked out in red and ‘Super Snake Sport’ embossed into the seat backs.
On the passenger side of the dash, a plaque contains its unique Shelby serial number, confirming it to be number 101 of 300 made.
Switch the engine on and you’re greeted by a ‘Built Tough’ message in the screen behind the steering wheel, which then turns into a picture of the truck itself and flashes its headlights when you switch it off – fun stuff!

Finished in striking Velocity Blue with matt black racing stripes, the F-150 looks pretty menacing, while 22-inch chrome alloy wheels, a chrome dual side-exit exhaust, deep front splitter, fog lamps and vented bonnet (unique to Shelby models) completes the look.
It’s a delivery mileage truck, so it comes as no surprise to find it is pretty much flawless throughout – you can still even read the writing on the chassis.

Open the bonnet and you’re greeted by a powder-coated blue Whipple 3.0 supercharger that sitds atop the engine. Other Shelby mods include a performance air intake, open air intake with carbon fibre intake tube, heat exchanger and billeted throttle body.
The suspension package used adjustable upper control arms and coil-overs on the front suspension, plus an adjustable rear sway bar to make it less of a handful, while the Baer braking system used ventilated, slotted discs and bright red Shelby callipers.
SUMMARY
How cool is this? It’s an iconic truck that wears the name of a motorsport legend, while the power output is phenomenal. It’s a special piece of kit – and you’re pretty much guaranteed not to see another coming the other way.
Plus, it’s essentially brand new. Yes, it’s a couple of years old, but since it was built it has been carefully stored and has covered only a minimal delivery mileage. A phenomenal thing in as-new condition, and with incredible road presence.
