It’s a cliché, but, the iconic first generation Saab 900 is one of those cars that just seems to get better and better with age.
This example is from 1986 with a mere 50k miles, low owners and a well-documented service history plus past invoices and MOT certs.
The colour combination of metallic silver with blue cloth interior make this very original Saab 900 even more timeless. The overall condition is superb and the car still retains all of its original features including its chrome wheel trims, genuine Saab rubber floor mats, toolkit, owner’s book pack, warranty pack, original V5 and even the original dealer number plates.
The spec of these cars is delightfully simple (no radio was ever fitted!), but this particular model does have the luxury of heated front seats to keep you toasty on a chilly morning!
Mechanically, these cars are very straightforward, also. The 1958cc single carb engine drives extremely well and the car still feels fresh after 34 years.
These Saab 900s are still as cool and popular as ever, and it’s not hard to see why.
