TVR 4. 2 1997 Cerbera Cosmos Blue. Cat D
Cosmos blue, Portland grey interior, with an estimated 45k or less miles and just 2 previous owners. The speedo stopped working when purchased by the last owner of in 2005. The clock at this stage showed 33, 207.
The patina of the car does not suggest any more than this, but it cannot be verified.
The car has had numerous works over the years and runs and drives particularly well.
The shocks have been upgraded to Gaz Golds and the engine at the last big service in 2012 had the Cams changed for a used ones (very good condition) by SD Auto Tec. All valve clearance and followers, where needed, were also replaced.
The car, while being MOT’d most years, has spent a long time in storage.
Outriggers have been replaced and the general chassis is good with a few minor flaking areas.
The body work overall is fair with stone chips and there is some lacquer cracks on the rear NS wing. From 5 feet the car looks stunning. The interior is good with just a small tear to the vinyl on the drivers seat at the bottom of the bolster (common issue).
This car has a Cat D status for front nearside wing damage in 2004. The repair has been done well and there was no chassis damage.
