Description
Bentley T1
Beautiful early 1966 Bentley T1 for sale, 6. 2 automatic, electric windows all work along with all the seat controls, all other switches work and radio present. Good history and current mileage at 95, 660. The engine pulls smoothly and runs happily through all the gears. Breaks are excellent with no warning lights. Suspension is smooth yet a little firmer than other similar Rolls Royces I have driven giving you better feedback as a driver when cornering. Chrome work is good with a few small spots needing a touch up.
The interior wooden dash and doors are all perfect. Roof lining perfect and all glass in tact and not chipped. The seats are good with age cracks on the rear seat. Carpets are all original and good with slight signs of wear plus they need a good clean. Both rear foot rests are with the car. The boot is in good order with unspoiled carpet and the jack and spare are present. Tyres are all good. The body is very straight with no dents and all shut lines are good.
The price is due to the overall paint of the car. From a few strides, she is very presentable as you can see from the pictures but the paint lets the car down as the roof has lost its top coat revealing the red primer. There is also a small amount of rust around the exhaust - a common fault. I was going to strip it and tidy her up but have run out of time and space. With the paint tidied up she will be a real stunner as the black and chrome contrast so well together along with the gold stripe.
Running with a current MOT until July. Sometimes located near Walton on Thames during the week and Farnham in the evenings/ weekends. call to arrange a viewing - Mark - the details below
